Who We Are
The Visit San Antonio River Walk Department is a small but passionate team dedicated to bringing our community’s rich culture to life through 25+ events every year. From vibrant parades to festive celebrations, we create experiences that unite locals and visitors in the heart of San Antonio. Our team of five is committed to elevating these events, but they simply wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of volunteers like you. We’re building a community of volunteers who help us make each event a success, and we can’t do it without you!
What We Do
For St. Patrick's weekend, we partner with the Harp & Shamrock Society of Texas to host a celebration that brings the spirit of Ireland to San Antonio. From dyeing the river green to the exciting parade, Lucky Dog fashion show, Emerald Run 5K, and festival of vendors along Villita Way, there’s no shortage of fun! Volunteers play a crucial role in keeping the energy high, especially in the Arneson River Theatre area. Whether it’s engaging with the crowd between stage sets, passing out goodies, or leading games, your help makes this celebration even more special.
